At Marion County Senior Citizens, Inc., we understand the deep bond between seniors and their pets. For many older adults, pets are more than companions — they’re family, providing comfort, purpose, and unconditional love. Our Pet Assistance Program is designed to help seniors 60 and older in Marion County keep their beloved pets healthy, happy, and at home.
Through this program, we offer support with pet-related needs, including:
- 🐶 Pet food delivery for homebound seniors
- 🐾 Basic pet care resources to help ensure pets stay safe and well cared for
The program is made possible through a partnership between Meals on Wheels Loves Pets and PetSmart Charities, and supported by community partners who share our love for both seniors and animals.
Because no senior should have to choose between their own well-being and their pet’s care, this program provides peace of mind and helps keep families — furry and human — together.
