To better serve our clients and ensure safe, efficient transportation, please review the following guidelines for individuals using wheelchairs:
- Advance Notice Required:
A minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice is required to schedule all non-emergency medical transportation. - Wheelchair Information:
When scheduling your ride, you must inform us if you use a wheelchair. This allows us to assign an appropriate wheelchair-accessible vehicle. - Transfers:
Please let us know if you are able to transfer to a regular vehicle seat during your trip. - Wheelchair Type & Size:
- Advise us if you are using a motorized wheelchair or scooter
- Notify us if your wheelchair is oversized, as not all vehicles can accommodate larger equipment
- Curbside Service Only:
Transportation is provided curb-to-curb only. Drivers are unable to enter homes or facilities. - Safe Pickup & Drop-off Conditions:
The pickup and drop-off area must be:- Level
- Clear of debris
- Free of mud, water, or other hazards
- Escort Encouraged:
We strongly encourage clients to have an adult escort accompany them when needed.
