If you get a random text that starts with a “Hello 
” or “How are you?” from someone you don’t know — don’t respond!
Scammers are sending out friendly messages hoping to start a conversation and gain your trust. Once they do, they may try to get personal information, money, or access to your accounts.
What to do:
Don’t reply or click any links.
Block the number immediately.
Report the message as spam if your phone allows.
Stay alert and protect yourself — if a message feels “off,” it probably is!
